Job summary

Ascentek is seeking an Inventory Control Specialist to ensure accurate inventory across warehouses and production. You will perform cycle counts, reconcile data, and process ERP/WMS transactions with strong attention to detail.

Collaborating with warehouse, production, quality, and supply chain teams, you will investigate discrepancies, identify root causes, and drive continuous improvement in inventory processes while maintaining a safe, organized operation aligned with our values.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in inventory control, warehouse, or manufacturing.
• Forklift certification or ability to obtain within 30 days.
• Strong analytical and data accuracy skills.
• Experience with ERP/WMS systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily cycle counts and inventory audits to maintain high levels of inventory accuracy.
• Investigate inventory discrepancies and determine root causes to resolve issues in a timely manner.
• Complete system transactions including transfers, adjustments, and reconciliations across locations.
• Maintain accurate inventory records within ERP or warehouse management systems.
• Support physical inventory processes including planning, execution, and reconciliation.
• Review production schedules and shipping activity to ensure material availability.
• Coordinate rework, reclaim, and slow-moving inventory processes to optimize inventory health.
• Analyze transaction errors and partner with cross-functional teams to resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain and update inventory control procedures and work instructions.
• Communicate inventory issues and recommend process improvements to leadership.
• Apply Lean, 5S, and continuous improvement principles to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and audit-ready work environment.
• Support additional operational tasks as needed
