Job summary

Thermach is seeking a Material Handler to efficiently receive, store, and distribute materials to support production schedules and shipping. You will ensure inventory accuracy, perform cycle counts, and verify material movements in the ERP system.

Responsibilities include receiving, storing, picking, staging for production, and assisting with audits. Prior warehouse experience and Epicor proficiency are preferred; forklift certification or the ability to obtain it is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous warehouse or inventory control experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret work orders, packing slips, and shipping docs.
• Experience with inventory cycle counts and discrepancy investigations preferred.
• Strong computer skills and experience with ERP systems (Epicor preferred).
• Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification.

Responsibilities

• Record inventory transactions in the ERP system (receipts, issues, returns, transfers).
• Perform cycle counts and compare with system records; document discrepancies.
• Investigate discrepancies and obtain approvals before adjustments.
• Receive, verify, and store incoming materials; check for damage.
• Unload, label, and store materials; ensure locations match records.
• Pull and stage parts for production jobs per work orders and schedules.
• Pick and prepare parts for customer orders for timely shipments.
• Replenish storage locations and record material movements.
• Maintain organized inventory areas for accurate counts.
• Assist with physical inventories and audits; research discrepancies.
• Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
• Communicate shortages and discrepancies to purchasing, production, and shipping.
• Follow all procedures for inventory control, quality standards, and safety.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment per company policy.
