Job summary

Ground Effects LLC seeks a Material Handler (level 1) to manage shipping/receiving and support customer build schedules. You will monitor portals, release ASNs, process returns, and prepare shippers and packing slips in Epicor, while maintaining inventory controls and compliance.

The role requires forklift certification, basic computer skills, and experience with MS Office. On-site position on a manufacturing floor with safety and quality standards adherence is expected.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
• 0–3 months of material handling experience (preferred 3–6 months).
• Must possess a valid forklift certification.
• Strong computer skills with understanding of purchasing software.
• Experience with Microsoft Office including Excel.
• Knowledge of TS16949/IATF 16949, quality audits, and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Monitor customer portal and schedule to meet production requirements.
• Receive and process incoming shipments.
• Release ASNs per customer requirements.
• Prepare packing slips and bill of lading in Epicor.
• Control inventory and ensure adherence to ISO/OSHA requirements.
• Operate industrial equipment and maintain a valid forklift certification.
