Job summary

Scholastic in Missouri is seeking an Inventory Control Clerk II to manage warehouse inventory, ensure accuracy, and support timely fulfillment of customer requirements.

You will evaluate incoming inventory in the WMS, process internal requests, and position stock to meet service standards while following safety protocols. The role requires working in a non-climate-controlled environment year-round and may involve overtime and weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in systematic inventory management preferred.
• Proficiency in department computer systems including AS400 and Microsoft Office.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Accurately evaluate and record incoming inventory in the WMS.
• Review and process inventory requests from departments.
• Position inventory to meet service standards.
• Research and resolve non-standard inventory issues.
• Safely operate warehouse tools and equipment such as RF scanners and labelers.
• Follow safety protocols around moving equipment and conveyors.
• Read and interpret order forms and communicate with team.
• Prepare products and transfer inventory from AMR totes to cartons.
