Job summary

Odyssey Logistics & Technology Corporation in Vandalia, IL is seeking an Inventory Specialist II to receive, store, issue, and maintain materials in a fast-paced warehouse environment. You will help ensure accurate inventory records, support cycle counts, and manage stock while adhering to safety standards.

This role uses WMS, barcode scanners, and forklifts to move goods. Requires a high school diploma and completion of Scissor Lift certification within 90 days.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must obtain Scissor Lift Certification internally within the first 90 days.
• Hazardous materials knowledge preferred.
• Forklift experience preferred.
• Knowledge of GMP preferred.
• Knowledge of Food Safety and Defense / HACCP preferred.
• Experience or ability to work with barcode scanners preferred.

Responsibilities

• Verify inventory by counting and reconciling records against system data.
• Maintain stock records and track discrepancies; prepare disposal reports.
• Coordinate cycle counts and EPA reporting as needed.
• Receive, store, locate, and relocate products in an orderly manner.
• Use WMS and barcode scanners; operate forklifts and other material handling equipment.
• Label inventory and ensure compliance with safety and disposal procedures.
