Job summary

Hunter Defense Technologies, Inc. is seeking an Inventory Specialist to manage material for assembly, stock parts, and update inventory records. The role requires operating tow motors and standup pickers, with a focus on accuracy and safety.

Responsibilities include stock picking, cycle counting, data entry, and resolving discrepancies while following established work instructions. This position supports multiple projects and adheres to ITAR/EAR compliance as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1-3 years industry experience preferred.
• Ability to operate tow motor, standup picker and other equipment as needed.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to climb ladders, bend, kneel, work overhead with arms and sit or stand for several hours at a time.
• Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required per plant rules.

Responsibilities

• Performs stock picking, cycle counting, and point of use stocking tasks using manual and motorized material handling equipment including tow motors and pallet jacks
• Performs material data transactions on computer terminal
• Able to look-up and investigate transaction history to resolve inventory discrepancies
• Ability to clock/claim work orders as they are completed
• Follows visual and written work instructions in order to complete assigned tasks within set time allotted
• Adheres to all quality and safety standards
• Supports other projects and performs duties as assigned
