Job summary

Barrett Firearms is seeking an Inventory Control Specialist to help maintain inventory accuracy across our warehouse and production sites. You will use handheld scanners and the ERP system to track parts, verify numbers, and ensure materials are in the right place.

You will perform cycle counts, FIFO handling, receiving and labeling, and coordinate with packing, production, and assembly teams to keep material flow smooth and compliant with safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2 years of inventory control, warehouse operations, material handling, or related field.
• Experience using ERP systems and handheld barcode scanners to track inventory.
• Ability to verify part numbers, lot numbers, serial numbers, and quantities accurately.
• Knowledge of FIFO and cycle counts, physical inventories, and quality procedures.

Responsibilities

• Enter and update inventory information in the ERP system using handheld scanners, maintaining accurate counts.
• Receive, inspect, label, and store materials with proper documentation and QA checks.
• Perform bin location changes, transfer inventory between facilities, and apply FIFO reasoning.
• Pull, stage, and replenish materials to fulfill orders for packing, production, and assembly.
• Conduct cycle counts and scheduled inventories; investigate discrepancies and maintain organization.
