Job summary

Leidos Defense Systems Electrical Manufacturing in Huntsville, AL is seeking an Inventory Specialist to support the manufacturing of electrical and mechanical components. Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED with 1–3 years of inventory control experience.
• Experience using Microsoft Windows and MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Ability to work with department leadership on stockroom planning and long-term vision.
• Must be a US citizen and able to obtain/maintain Secret Clearance.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs and work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Cycle counting.
• Stocking and tracking of components.
• Fulfilling material requests.
• Performing inventory actions in accounting software.
• Assembling kits for manufacturing, delivery and pickup of material.
• Component serialization/marking.
• Supporting material audits and maintaining cleanliness and organization.
