Job summary

Wärtsilä North America is seeking an Inventory Clerk to manage daily warehouse administration and inventory control at our Ohio site, ensuring accurate stock, efficient material handling, and compliance with safety standards.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years in logistics, warehousing or supply chain, strong communication, and experience with SAP or MAXIMO; you will maintain records, coordinate receipts and dispatches, and support continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in logistics, warehousing or supply chain management.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with Maintenance Management Systems (SAP or MAXIMO) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Establishing and maintaining procedures to optimize space, counting, retrieval, and tracking.
• Resolving discrepancies between physical stock and system data.
• Ensuring stock levels meet operations without overstocking or shortages.
• Maintaining accurate inventory records across SAP and MAXIMO.
• Coordinating receipt and dispatch of materials against purchase documentation.
• Ensuring items are labeled, stored, and handled per EHS standards.
