Job summary

Watchfire Signs, LLC. is seeking an Inventory Control Clerk to maintain accuracy across warehouse and ERP transactions. You will perform cycle counts, review variances, and support material flow to keep production on schedule.

This hourly role reports to the Materials Supervisor, works on site in Houston, Monday through Friday with occasional overtime. Candidates should have a HS diploma, ERP experience, and strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate degree in Supply Chain, Business, Logistics, or related field preferred.
• Two or more years inventory control, warehouse, shipping, receiving, or manufacturing experience preferred.
• Experience working within an ERP system preferred.
• Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform cycle counts and inventory audits to maintain accuracy.
• Investigate inventory variances and identify root causes.
• Maintain inventory integrity within the ERP system through accurate and timely transaction processing.
• Review inventory transactions for completeness and accuracy, correcting errors as required.
• Monitor inventory movements and document receipts, transfers, adjustments, and shipments.
• Schedule LTL shipments with approved carriers and coordinate required shipping documentation.
• Process and release customer orders as shipped within the ERP system.
• Release work orders to production and print kitting lists to support manufacturing schedules.
• Coordinate with warehouse and production personnel to ensure materials are available to support production requirements.
• Operate material-handling equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks, if trained and authorized.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on inventory accuracy, material flow, and operational efficiency.
• Maintain a safe, organized, and clean work environment.
