Job summary

Florikan ESA LLC, an agri-tech producer headquartered in Sarasota, FL, seeks an Inventory Control Specialist for our Bowling Green facility. The role oversees receiving, storage, movement, and disposition of inventory and non-inventory materials while maintaining accurate ERP/MRP records and completing regular cycle counts to support production and deliveries.

Candidates should hold an associate degree in a related field and have prior inventory experience.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• Experience as an Inventory Specialist.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate ERP/MRP records for receiving, inventory transactions, and material disposition.
• Coordinate shipping, receiving, inspection, storage, and movement of materials and equipment.
• Manage inventory quality holds and address aging inventory concerns.
• Organize daily workloads and material handling throughout the facility.
• Investigate inventory discrepancies, reconcile adjustments, and explain variances.
• Perform frequent cycle counts, record audits, and annual physical inventory counts.
• Maintain inventory levels to meet customer delivery timelines.
• Establish procedures for year-end physical inventory and valuation.
• Recommend improvements based on audits and reduce losses from damage or mishandling.
• Perform other duties as assigned; this position has no supervisory responsibilities.
