Job summary

Qualifications

Associate degree in SCM or related field required.
Experience as an Inventory Specialist preferred.
Proficiency with ERP/MRP records and inventory controls.

Responsibilities

Maintain ERP/MRP records for receiving, inventory transactions, and material disposition.
Coordinate shipping, receiving, inspection, storage, and movement of materials.
Manage inventory quality holds and address aging inventory concerns.
Organize daily workloads and material handling throughout the facility.
Investigate inventory discrepancies and reconcile adjustments.
Perform cycle counts, record audits, and annual physical inventories.
Maintain inventory levels to meet customer delivery timelines.
Establish procedures for year-end physical inventory and valuation.
Recommend improvements to reduce losses from damage or mishandling.
No supervisory responsibilities.
