Job summary

Ollie’s Bargain Outlet, Inc. seeks a detail-oriented Inventory Control Associate to help maintain the integrity of goods in the distribution center. You will participate in daily reconciliation of goods received and shipped, and support cycle counting and damaged-goods processing.

Ideal candidates communicate well, work with cross-functional teams, and can adapt to a flexible schedule including nights and weekends. This role supports store-level inventory accuracy and flow efficiencies.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be accurate with attention to detail.
• Good communication with all team members.
• Ability to communicate with other departments and staff professionally.
• Must be able to work as a team with emphasis on individual goals.
• Proficient use of Microsoft Outlook, Excel and AS400.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule (nights, weekends, holidays).

Responsibilities

• Reconciling goods received and delivered on a daily and weekly basis.
• Cycle counting of merchandise and goods in the warehouse.
• Processing of damaged goods and merchandise.
• Assigning primary locations for goods and merchandise for product placement.
• Assist production planning team with next day’s product and merchandise flow.
• Break primary locations daily to assist with next day’s inbound production.
• Research SKUs to assist accounting with weekly bill payment.
• Create daily projects for letdown/put away team.
• Assist Inventory Control Supervisor with daily projects.
• Billing/crediting stores for goods.
• Additional responsibilities as needed.
