Job summary

Ollie’s is seeking an Inventory Control associate to safeguard the integrity and maintenance of all goods in the distribution center. Responsibilities include reconciling goods received and delivered daily, performing cycle counts, processing damaged items, and assigning primary locations for product placement.

You will assist production planning with next-day flow, break primary locations to support inbound production, research SKUs for billing, create daily projects for the letdown/put-away

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be accurate with attention to detail.
• Good communication with all team members.
• Ability to communicate with other departments, supervisors, other distribution center, and support center staff professionally.

Responsibilities

• Reconciling goods received and delivered on a daily and weekly basis.
• Cycle counting of merchandise and goods in the warehouse.
• Processing of damaged goods and merchandise.
• Assigning primary locations for goods and merchandise for product placement.
• Assist production planning team with next day’s product and merchandise flow.
• Break primary locations daily to assist with next day’s inbound production.
• Research SKUs to assist accounting department with weekly bill payment.
• Create daily projects for letdown/put away team.
• Assist Inventory Control Supervisor with any projects that develop to assist in daily production.
• Billing/crediting stores for goods.
• Additional responsibilities to be determined as business needs arise.
