Job summary

Grocery Outlet is seeking an Inventory Control Specialist to manage distribution of merchandise, make quick decisions, and optimize inventory at the distribution center to maximize turns and profitability.

The role requires hands-on work, cross-functional collaboration, and strong analytical skills with experience in warehouse environments. Reports to the Inventory Control Manager and supports stores and purchasing teams.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of inventory control experience in a warehouse environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficient with Excel and data interpretation.

Responsibilities

• Process store claims and analyze sales history for validation.
• Monitor DC inventory against SAP data and repair discrepancies.
• Manage expiring items and coordinate offsite storage and logistics.
• Communicate inventory position across cross-functional teams.
• Present analytics and reports to management and buyers.
