Job summary

TCC is seeking a dedicated Inventory Coordinator to oversee inventory levels, perform regular physical counts, and reconcile stock with system records. You will collaborate with purchasing, receiving, production, and logistics to ensure material availability while minimizing waste and stockouts.

The role emphasizes data-driven decision making, process improvement, and adherence to company values. This salaried, exempt position reports to the Production Planning Manager and requires 40-45 hours

Qualifications

• Experience with inventory control and cycle counts.
• Strong data accuracy and reporting abilities.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with production, purchasing, and logistics.

Responsibilities

• Maintains database and performs physical counts; reconciles with system records.
• Facilitates feedback to improve inventory procedures.
• Plans FG stocking levels on a monthly basis.
• Processes product returns in system.
• Ensures labeling and locations are accurate.
• Resolves quantity discrepancies with manufacturing and logistics.
• Develops and implements inventory procedures to improve efficiency.
• Monitors obsolete and overstocked inventory; recommends actions.
• Prepares monthly cycle count reports.
• Participates in yearly physical inventory.
• Cross-trains in production planning and purchasing activities.
• Tracks purchase orders and investigates issues.
• Assists in reconciling VMI/consigned inventory.
• Performs miscellaneous duties as assigned
