Job summary

Sysco is seeking a Warehouse Inventory Clerk to monitor freight and inventory, perform daily cycle counts across frozen, cooler and dry goods, and keep records up to date. You will support the Inventory Control Supervisor and Warehouse Manager and collaborate with purchasing, warehouse, and customer service teams.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, 1 year warehousing experience, and preferred 3–4 years. forklift certification is a plus and safety compliance is essential.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma/GED is required and 1 year warehousing experience.
• Ability to operate a 10-key touchpad is required.
• Forklift certification is preferred and warehouse equipment proficiency is expected.
• Strong communication with shippers and team members is essential.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and inspect freight and inventory to meet quality standards and correct quantities.
• Perform daily physical cycle counts for frozen, cooler, and dry products.
• Maintain and report inventory and warehouse data to the supervisor and manager.
• Coordinate with purchasing, warehouse, inventory, and customer service to ensure smooth information flow.
• Assist with inventory adjustments, slot maintenance, and physical inventories as needed.
• Adhere to HACCP, MSDS, and safety guidelines and complete required reports.
