Job summary

Qualifications

• High school degree or equivalent.
• 1 year experience preferred.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Speak effectively before groups of customers or associates.
• Exemplary listening skills for two-way communication.
• Basic arithmetic including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Read, write and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Ensure integrity of physical count of in-house inventory via cycle counting.
• Cycle counts warehouse minimum four times a year with checks for discrepancies.
• Perform quality checks on date sensitive and slow-moving items; support recalls.
• Research causes of weight variances and inventory issues from warehouse moves.
• Check FIFO items for proper rotation.
• Confirm reserves are recorded and counted for each pallet.
• Verify put-away and transfer processes by day and night staff.
• Initiate and document product transfers from cooler to freezer.
• Review standard management reports and investigate shrink causes.
• Coordinate will call orders when scheduled.
