Floor & Decor in West Hartford, CT is hiring for an Inventory Control Associate responsible for accuracy and integrity of store inventory. Both full-time and part-time positions are available.

The role requires at least one year of inventory control experience in a large retailer, solid POS analysis, and strong customer service skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office is preferred and attention to detail is essential.

Qualifications

• One year of inventory control experience in a big box retail environment or equivalent.
• Demonstrated point of sale analysis and reporting experience.
• Medium computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite.
• Must be detail-oriented and highly organized.
• Excellent customer service skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Follow safe lifting practices and SOPs for inventory work.
• Conduct daily cycle counts and category reviews.
• Investigate discrepancies and adjust in the inventory system.
• Audit shipping/receiving documents for accuracy.
• Notify managers of tagging or SKU discrepancies promptly.
• Audit BFR, SRR, RTV processes per SOP and resolve issues.
• Ensure facility security and weekly customer merchandise storage audits.
• Assist Operations Manager during physical inventory periods.
• Document and report findings monthly for cycle count accuracy.
