Job summary

White Cap is seeking an Inventory Specialist responsible for recording and maintaining control of all inventory items purchased and produced. Duties include receiving products from vendors for quality control, scheduling audits, and ensuring overall inventory accuracy in a warehouse environment.

Primary tasks involve conducting daily inventory audits, resolving discrepancies, maintaining manuals, and promoting a safe workplace. Strong HS diploma and 2–5 years of related experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in inventory or related area.
• HS Diploma or GED strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of safety policies and procedures.
• Ability to follow process documentation and keep accurate records.

Responsibilities

• Audit inventory to balance daily order processing.
• Research and resolve discrepancies per internal control procedures.
• Assist in maintaining inventory accuracy and perform cycle counts.
• Receive products from vendors and communicate potential quality issues to buyers.
• Maintain quality control and inventory control manuals.
• Maintain a safe work environment by following safety policies.
