Job summary

Seaboard Triumph Foods seeks an Inventory Control Clerk to manage inventory control and distribution processes for the processing plant. You will maintain optimal investment levels, interface with departments, and support policy implementation to safeguard assets.

This role requires strong Excel skills, three years of related experience or training, and the ability to work unsupervised while meeting deadlines. Regular reporting and collaboration across teams are essential to success.

Qualifications

• Three years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proficient in all Microsoft Office products, especially Excel.
• Self-motivated and able to prioritize and complete critical assignments in a timely manner unsupervised.

Responsibilities

• Hours are dependent on business needs.
• Maintain an optimum inventory investment level, based on usage, availability and projected requirements.
• Interface with all departments to maintain positive relations and seek feedback on service effectiveness.
• Assist with inventory control policies, practices and procedures.
• Assist with internal control procedures to protect assets.
• Assist with internal inventory reports completion.
• Provide written and verbal reports on inventory problems and opportunities with corrective actions.
• Develop collaborative relationships to maintain good rapport for effective performance.
