Webstaurantstore is seeking an Inventory Control Specialist to ensure data accuracy between internal systems and physical counts, collaborating across departments to identify issues and propose proactive solutions for customers. The role works independently across teams and emphasizes precision and efficiency.

Requirements include 1 year+ in distribution, a high school diploma or GED, and strong Excel and problem-solving skills. No degree is required; forklift experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• 1 year+ of relevant experience in a distribution environment preferred but not required.
• High school diploma or GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Degree not required; relevant skills and experience valued.

Responsibilities

• Run reports to identify inventory issues and resolve problems.
• Conduct weekly cycle counts and investigate inaccuracies.
• Make inventory adjustments using the ERP system.
• Operate forklift to replenish pick bins.
• Identify and process damaged inventory to maintain accuracy.
• Ensure misplaced items are returned to correct bins.
• Maintain safe, clean warehouse environment.
• Collaborate with teams to meet daily/weekly/monthly goals.
• Adhere to policies and adapt to other duties as needed.
