Job summary

Trident Seafoods in Washington state is seeking an Inventory Control Specialist to monitor and improve inventory processes across receiving, warehousing, and shipping. This role emphasizes accuracy, timely processing, and maintaining a 3-way match between systems.

You will work in a wet, cold seafood environment with safety training. A minimum of three years’ related experience and an associate’s degree in supply chain or related field are required, with a bachelor’s degree preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years of related experience.
• Associate's degree in supply chain, business, or related field; or equivalent experience.
• Preferred: Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, or related field; or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Drives efficient processing times on all received material and improves processing time.
• Verifies aging of material in receiving and shipping locations ensuring accuracy.
• Ensures 3-way inventory match between external and internal systems.
• Monitors inventory data accuracy and EDI transmissions for on-time processing.
• Collaborates with inventory control team to resolve errors and delays in order processing.
• Assists with quality assurance holds/releases and safety training compliance.
• Partners with 3rd party locations to maintain accuracy in chilled and frozen warehousing.
