Job summary

SanMar-Internal is seeking an Inventory Control associate in our Minnesota distribution center. The role focuses on maintaining inventory accuracy through cycle counts, slotting updates, and aisle verification, using High Jump and RF scanners daily.

Responsibilities include executing slotting plans, auditing inventory, correcting discrepancies, and ensuring safety and data integrity while coordinating with team leadership. Must be able to operate powered equipment and work overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1-3 years warehouse experience.
• Ability to read and identify colors, sizes, quantities, labels, and SKUs.
• Basic math skills for counting and quantity.
• Maintain SanMar Lift Operator Certification every 3 years.
• Familiarity with High Jump basics.

Responsibilities

• Follow slotting plans to locate product in Lo-bay and Slow Bay.
• Use High Jump to perform inventory audits and aisle maintenance.
• Correct discrepancies such as damaged product and incorrect LPNs.
• Perform cycle counts in High Bay and Lo-bay using RF scanner.
• Ensure data in High Jump is accurate and up to date.
• Communicate with leadership and coworkers to manage inventory daily.
• Operate powered lift equipment to move product as needed.
• Maintain a safe, neat work area per safety regulations.
• Other duties as assigned and compliance with policies.
