B&B Roadway and Security Solutions, an ASSA ABLOY branded company, is looking for an Inventory Control Specialist in our Russellville, AL location. This position will lead and coordinate the engineering team. Evaluate and resolve technical feasibility, design optimization, and production issues with existing products.

What you will be doing:

Monitor, maintain, update, investigate, and analyze inventory records, perform inventory-related projects, and provide information to management to assist in decisions concerning inventory balances, control processes, and process improvements. Lead the setup and administration of cycle counts for raw and component goods. Validate and improve inventory accuracy and controls. Reconcile work order issues.

Job Duties & Requirements:

• Develop, implement, and monitor key functions related to inventory transactions to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
• Perform regular cycle counts, compare actual counts to perpetual records, and correct discrepancies. Document and communicate results, including corrective actions.
• Coordinate cycle count processes, identify necessary recounts, and provide reports on findings.
• Research and document inventory discrepancies, identify root causes, and suggest solutions.
• Work with personnel to implement process improvements, optimizing location and item accuracy.
• Monitor and control inventory integrity.
• Reconcile inventory discrepancies and document damaged or non-conforming products.
• Generate reports to identify errors and perform transactions to correct them.

The skills and experience you need:

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Knowledge of production processes, raw materials, and material flows.
• Minimum two years' experience in an MRP or ERP manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of inventory management in manufacturing.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word.
• Attention to detail and follow-through skills.
• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills.
