The successful Inventory Control Specialist II will be responsible for additional procurement duties and more complex technical inventory. Reports to: Fleet Warehouse Manager
HIRING HOURLY RANGE: $17.26 - $22.61

Essential Functions
- Maintain information on hazardous chemicals and materials using HAZMAT guidelines to ensure proper storage and distribution as per OSHA standards.
- Assist in keeping the warehouse or storage area for parts and supplies clean and organized.
- Research parts needed for repairs and place special orders.
- Requisition supplies and equipment, obtaining quotes from vendors for competitive pricing.
- Conduct market analysis to assess inventory costs and availability.
- Receive, verify, inspect, and route materials from vendors to the inventory supply room.
- Maintain accurate records of all fleet inventory, including vehicles, equipment, parts, and supplies.
- Monitor inventory levels to ensure timely replenishment.
- Operate County vehicle for order pickups from vendors as needed.
- Perform additional duties or responsibilities as assigned.

Minimum Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required; and
Two or more years of experience in a related field.
- Valid SC Driver’s license or ability to obtain within three months of hire, meeting the County’s motor vehicle policy.
- Additional training in HAZMAT handling and storage may be required.
