Job summary

ShipBob in North Aurora, IL is seeking an Inventory Control/Quality Assurance Associate to monitor inventory across multiple client accounts and fulfillment centers. You will help ensure accuracy, safety, and scalable growth while supporting day-to-day operations.

The role requires investigating discrepancies, performing cycle counts, and communicating vitally to the ICQA Lead and MC team. The position emphasizes attention to detail and adherence to SOPs in a fast-paced environment.

• Identify and reconcile inventory discrepancies through cycle counts and audits.
• Clear written and verbal communication with operations and ICQA leads.
• Capable of multitasking and handling multiple issues with composure.
• Demonstrates meticulous attention to details in inventory control.

Responsibilities

• Investigate inventory discrepancies reported by the Operations team.
• Perform physical inventory cycle counts and reconcile variances.
• Communicate updates and important operational information to ICQA Lead.
• Resolve merchant-facing inventory related requests.
• Understand cycle counts and inventory control per SOPs.
• Ensure variances are researched and resolved to support outbound orders.
• Coordinate with MC team for orders impacted by inventory issues.
• Follow SOPs to maintain product safety, quality, and traceability.
• Additional duties as needed.
