Essential Job Responsibilities:
- Organize cycle counts with Finishing, Material Handling, Production, and Logistics.
- Perform back-office check of the data after each cycle count to ensure the count is the most accurate it can be.
- Create, track, and communicate inventory accuracy metrics / KPI’s based on data collected from cycle counts and report to stakeholders.
- Investigate inventory discrepancies and determine root causes to improve inventory accuracy.
- Manage common problem bin locations, such as LOST, EMPTY, 463GENP, NOT FOUND, etc.
- Regularly review and correct inventory in these bins.
- Maintain allocations to manufacturing orders for containers in these problem bins.
- Identify and promote process improvements to reduce material in problem bins.
- Participate in annual physical inventory, supporting the physical inventory leader with testing, training, and setup.
- Support management of expiring goods by coordinating with Business Units, Finished Goods Planning, Formulations, and Sales to reduce expired goods volumes and improve year-over-year.
- Support the Formulation Team.
- Print bulking pick lists, monitor Manufacturing order statuses, determine which MOs to print, and consolidate pick lists for the Finishing Team.
- Communicate inventory opportunities across departments to meet ship dates and inform stakeholders of issues, including inbound raw material concerns.
- Consult with R&D and Product Managers to resolve product, specification, or supply issues.
Education/Experience:
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, math, or science-related field
- 2-4 years’ experience in inventory tracking or accuracy roles
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems
- Strong communication skills (written, verbal, interpersonal)
- Customer-focused attitude with high-quality support
- Initiative, motivation, and self-direction
Desired:
- Experience in chemical and/or food industry
- INFOR/M3 experience

- Working at a computer over 80% of the time
- Working in plant conditions that may be hot, cold, or dusty
