CarParts.com is seeking Inventory Control Specialists to join our team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for ensuring inventory counts are accurate and parts stock meets order pull demand. You may also be order picking and packing our products.

Inventory Control Specialist is a key position for serving our customers' needs. You’ll contribute to our success at our Jacksonville, FL distribution center and support the overall company mission!

Summary of Role/Position

The Inventory Quality Control Specialist will perform inventory control activities within a specific department. You will maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing SKUs, conduct digital and manual counts to identify discrepancies, research and correct issues, and report findings to the Inventory Control Manager (ICM).

The ideal candidate will possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with outstanding people management abilities.

You Will

  • Manage and maintain accurate order picking using an RF Scanner
  • Audit inventory management processes for accuracy and efficiency
  • Maintain cycle count accuracy through digital and physical counts, providing reports to management
  • Collaborate with multiple departments to optimize inventory accuracy and warehouse efficiency
  • Maintain inventory thresholds as per the company database (WMS)
  • Ensure organization and cleanliness of the inventory area, including proper placement and labeling
  • Operate equipment safely and dispose of obsolete inventory appropriately
  • Oversee RMA transactions for accurate processing and final disposition
  • Manage RTV transactions to ensure proper processing with vendors

You Must Have/Be

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous warehouse inventory experience
  • Experience operating Cherry Picker/Stock Picker
  • At least 2 years in a warehouse inventory role
  • Strong organizational skills for managing inventory and improving storage efficiency
  • Familiarity with data entry systems
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to stand and bend for extended periods in a warehouse environment
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
