Job summary

Summary

This position assists with all daily functions in inventory control and cycle counting.

Responsibilities
  • Monitor and control inventory practices to ensure accuracy.
  • Investigate and troubleshoot inventory issues through root cause analysis.
  • Maintain product identification and location programs.
  • Assist in locating stock in prime locations based on usage.
  • Research discrepancies and resolve potential issues.
  • Conduct daily cycle counts and post results.
  • Ensure facility compliance with safety protocols.
  • Provide high-level internal customer service through inventory management and quality processes.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements
  • Associate degree in business or related field and at least 1 year of relevant experience, or
  • Additional 2 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree.
Preferred Requirements
  • Forklift certification or license.
  • Knowledge of distribution center operations.
  • Experience with enterprise resource planning or inventory control systems.
  • Understanding of inventory flow from receiving to shipping.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, and Intranet.
  • Familiarity with AS 400 system.

  • The selected candidate will undergo a background check and drug testing.
