Job summary

Essex Brownell is seeking an Inventory Coordinator to maintain precise inventory records and support daily stock activities. The role involves processing RMAs, auditing inventory, and resolving discrepancies across Operations, Customer Service, and related teams.

Ideal candidates will have experience in inventory management, strong Excel skills, and a detail-oriented, proactive approach to improvements and accuracy.

Qualifications

• Previous inventory, warehouse, distribution, or administrative experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Comfortable working with numbers and researching discrepancies.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and follow through on issues.
• Experience with an ERP or inventory management system preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate inventory records and support day-to-day inventory activities.
• Process RMAs and inventory returns.
• Research and resolve inventory discrepancies.
• Conduct regular inventory audits and cycle counts.
• Investigate inventory variances and identify potential causes.
• Assist with inventory adjustments and corrections as needed.
• Work with warehouse personnel to verify product quantities and locations.
• Review inventory transactions to identify errors or inconsistencies.
• Communicate inventory issues to appropriate departments.
• Assist with improving inventory processes and accuracy.
• Support month-end and year-end inventory activities.
• Perform other inventory and operations duties as assigned.
