Job summary

RS Integrated Supply is seeking an Inventory Specialist to join our on-site storeroom operations in New Bedford, MA. You will assist receiving, stocking, issuing, and maintaining accurate inventory records using ERP systems and MS Office tools.

In this role, you will work closely with clients and internal teams to ensure timely stock availability, follow safety procedures, and support daily cycle counts and inventory control tasks.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and phone skills.
• Basic computer proficiency – Windows and MS Office.
• Ability to learn part identification and inventory software.
• Detail oriented and organized.
• Ability to follow procedures and meet deadlines.
• Strong problem analysis and resolution skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Follow site safety procedures and perform tasks safely.
• Provide professional customer service to internal and external customers.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and SOPs.
• Unpack and verify received materials; enter data in ERP.
• Issue materials to client; pull, stage, and kit as needed.
• Place received items in storage; tagging and repacking as necessary.
• Process returns and prep parts for vendor return or repair.
• Perform cycle counts and report discrepancies for resolution.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and update ERP with relocations.
• Verify on-hand quantities to identify reorder needs.
• Keep storeroom clean and organized.
• Support special projects and corporate initiatives.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
