Job summary

BorgWarner is seeking a Receiving/Materials associate at the Arden plant to support inventory receipt, posting receipts in SAP, unloading trucks and verifying quantities against packing lists.

You will print transfer orders, label products, manage ASN data, and coordinate carrier arrangements while collaborating with shipping, customer service and accounting to ensure timely, accurate processing.

Qualifications

• Completion of high school or equivalent required.
• Associates Degree or two+ years of related experience preferred.
• Minimum of one-year related experience.
• Strong keyboarding and scanning skills.
• Strong forklift experience and skills.
• Good conflict resolution skills.
• Good math and problem-solving skills.
• Thorough knowledge of shipping, packaging, labeling and trucking concepts.
• Ability to adapt schedule to meet customer shipping/production schedules.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and make sound carrier and shipment decisions.
• Ability to interpret a wide variety of customer specifications and process information accordingly.
• Ability to work well with diverse personalities and teams.
• Ability to follow safety rules and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Scanning inventory for receipt upon delivery from supplier.
• Posting receipts in SAP with Receiving Coordinator support.
• Unloading trucks and verifying quantities against packing lists.
• Entering ASN data to ensure timely processing.
• Supporting shipping, customer service and accounting with shipping documentation.
• Providing order tracking and routing information via phone and email.
• Processing miscellaneous shipments including UPS/FedEx parcels.
• Labeling and repackaging as needed; preparing transfer orders.
• Printing labels and transfer orders for put-away.
• Fleet/ carrier arrangements as required.
• Completing Bill of Lading and related paperwork.
• Working with receiving dock functions and related duties.
