Job summary

BorgWarner is seeking an Inventory Control Specialist for the 1st shift at the Arden plant in Kentucky. You will scan inventory on receipt, post receipts in SAP, unload trucks, and verify quantities against packing lists to ensure timely processing.

Responsibilities include ASN data entry, coordinating with shipping, customer service and accounting, and handling various shipments. Strong forklift, math, and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred.
• At least one year of related inventory or shipping experience.
• Proficiency with SAP, Excel and Word.
• Strong math, problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work safely on the receiving dock and in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Scan inventory for receipt on delivery from supplier.
• Post receipts in SAP with Receiving Coordinator.
• Unload trucks and verify quantities against packing lists.
• Enter ASN data to ensure timely processing.
• Coordinate with shipping, customer service and accounting on documentation.
• Provide order tracking and EDI information via phone and email.
• Process miscellaneous shipments including parcel shipments.
• Maintain knowledge of receiving dock functions and labeling requirements.
• Print transfer orders and labels; assist with labeling as needed.
• Complete Bill of Lading and arrange carrier services.
• Perform other duties as needed.
