Job summary

BorgWarner is seeking a Warehouse Associate to unload/load trucks, verify quantities, and stage materials for put-away. You'll move parts between warehouse and production areas, scan items, and use SAP for inventory tasks.

A forklift license and warehouse experience are required, with an emphasis on safety and teamwork. Applicants should be comfortable with MS Windows and SAP, follow strict procedures, and support quality control in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Licensed to operate forklift.
• Must have previous experience in a warehouse environment.
• Minimum of two years of related experience supporting manufacturing operations.
• Must be computer literate and have the ability to perform basic MS Windows / SAP operating tasks.
• Attendance on the job is essential.
• Must be able to work in a team environment.
• Must be able to follow instructions, safety rules and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Unload and load trucks; verify quantities.
• Ensure paperwork and labeling are correct.
• Scan parts for receipt and delivery as required.
• Stage material for put-away and pickup.
• Review assembly build requirements.
• Move parts between warehouse and production areas.
• Deliver material to production areas and vice versa.
• Operate forklift or other power equipment as needed.
• Use SAP to put away and pick parts.
• Notify supervisor of inventory shortages.
• Follow health, safety and environmental policies.
• Identify and report safety issues and corrective actions.
