Job summary

GEODIS is seeking an Inventory Manager to train and lead the inventory team across accounts. You will drive cycle counts, investigate discrepancies between WMS and floor counts, and implement corrective actions to meet KPI targets.

The role emphasizes collaboration with engineering on warehouse layouts and a focus on accurate reporting. The position requires a bachelor's degree, extensive inventory experience, supervisory background, and strong MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from a 4 year college or university
• Minimum 4 years related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience
• Experience managing inventory and shrink goals for customers
• Experience with food grade product and lot managing all with expiration date control
• Experience leading a team across shifts and multi-locations
• Experience with data warehousing, ETL processes, and big data solutions is a plus (Snowflake/Redshift/BigQuery)
• Knowledge of financial information as it relates to adjustments and write-offs
• PC literate with MS Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
• Ability to read and interpret business documents
• Ability to write routine reports and present information

Responsibilities

• Trains and manages the inventory team in one or multiple accounts
• Leads cycle counts and analyzes discrepancies to support KPIs
• Traces item history to resolve WMS vs floor count gaps
• Analyzes defect trends and works with ops to reduce defects
• Coordinates daily reporting for accurate inventory records
• Ensures accounts have tools and resources to meet goals
• Partners with engineering on warehouse layout and slotting strategy
• Monitors KPIs for profitability and productivity
• Maintains safety and 5S across multi-site operations
• Interacts with customers on projects and communicates results
• Participates in monthly business reviews with Inventory Control data
