Job summary

Pacific Rubber & Packing is seeking an Inventory Control Specialist to safeguard inventory accuracy and ensure timely materials for customer orders and production. You will work across Operations, Planning, Purchasing, and Customer Service to keep processes efficient.

You will analyze inventory data, perform cycle counts, and resolve discrepancies, contributing to on‑time delivery and overall operational excellence. This role emphasizes accuracy, safety, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, materials management, or related field.
• Experience in warehouse environment and with warehouse equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks).
• Forklift certification or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire.
• Strong computer proficiency and data entry skills; ERP systems experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain inventory transactions and accurate records in the ERP system.
• Monitor inventory levels via cycle counts, audits, and verification.
• Investigate discrepancies to align system and physical inventory.
• Organize inventory locations to improve accuracy and warehouse efficiency.
• Pull and stage materials for customer orders and production work orders.
• Communicate inventory status and shortages with Planning, Purchasing, and Supply Chain teams.
• Support production schedules by ensuring materials availability.
• Identify opportunities to improve inventory control processes.
• Contribute to a culture of quality, teamwork, and safety.
