Job summary

PACIFIC RUBBER & PACKING INC in San Carlos, CA is seeking an Inventory Control Specialist to maintain inventory accuracy and support material flow for customer orders and production work orders.

You will manage inventory transactions in our ERP, perform cycle counts, resolve discrepancies, and collaborate with Planning, Purchasing, Customer Service, and Supply Chain to ensure availability and on-time delivery. Prior warehouse experience and forklift certification are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 2+ years of experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, materials management, or related field.
• Experience in warehouse, manufacturing, or distribution environment preferred.
• Experience operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
• Forklift certification or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire.
• Strong computer proficiency and data entry skills.
• Experience with ERP and inventory management systems (SAP, NetSuite, Epicor, Oracle, MS Dynamics or similar).
• Ability to learn new systems while maintaining accurate records and transactions.

Responsibilities

• Investigate discrepancies to align system and physical inventory.
• Organize inventory locations to improve accuracy and efficiency.
• Pull and stage materials for customer orders and production work orders.
• Communicate inventory status, shortages, and replenishment needs across teams.
• Support production schedules by ensuring materials are available.
• Identify opportunities to improve inventory control processes.
• Contribute to a culture of quality, teamwork, and safety.
