Job summary

Pacific Rubber & Packing seeks an Inventory Control Specialist to safeguard inventory accuracy and ensure materials availability across Operations, Planning, Purchasing, and Customer Service. You will maintain ERP records, perform cycle counts, and resolve discrepancies while organizing locations for efficiency.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in inventory control, warehouse experience, forklift certification, and hands-on ERP proficiency with SAP, NetSuite, Epicor, Oracle, or MS Dynamics.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years experience in inventory control or related field.
• Experience in warehouse, manufacturing, or distribution environments preferred.
• Experience operating warehouse equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks).
• Forklift certification or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire.
• Strong computer proficiency and data entry skills.
• Experience with ERP and inventory management systems (SAP, NetSuite, Epicor, Oracle, MS Dynamics or similar).
• Ability to learn new systems while maintaining accurate records.

Responsibilities

• Maintain integrity of inventory and support material flow across operations.
• Manage inventory transactions and ERP records.
• Conduct cycle counts, audits, and ongoing verification of inventory.
• Investigate discrepancies to align system and physical inventory.
• Organize inventory locations to improve accuracy and warehouse efficiency.
• Pull and stage materials for orders and production work orders.
• Communicate inventory status and replenishment needs with Planning and Purchasing.
• Support production schedules by ensuring materials are available.
• Identify opportunities to improve inventory control processes and performance.
• Contribute to quality, teamwork, safety, and continuous improvement.
