Job summary

Pregis LLC is hiring an Inventory Specialist to manage cycle counts, track inventory levels, and coordinate service orders across our facilities. You will maintain accuracy of inventory records, draft cycle reports, and support allocation and production teams with timely data.

The role requires at least 1 year in inventory or shipping/receiving, strong MS Office skills, and SAP ERP experience. Evening/weekend coverage may be required to support year-end and operations needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent or 4 year degree preferred.
• At least 1 year of inventory and/or shipping and receiving experience.
• ERP experience is required SAP preferred.
• Ability and willingness to work outside of normal hours including evening and weekends.
• Must have great attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform cycle counts of products, resin, concentrate, and components, monitoring inventory levels, investigating inventory losses – doing RCA’s, coordinating the planning and implementation of service orders.
• Maintain Railcars and inventory of Silos.
• Complete daily, weekly, and monthly cycle count to verify on-hand inventory.
• Create and distribute inventory cycle reports to management and other relevant departments.
• Maintain accurate records of product inventory associated with specific orders.
• Drive improvement processes and systems to reduce inventory shrinkage and maximize inventory turns.
• Audit raw and finished goods for accuracy.
• Assist in leading year-end company-wide physical inventory.
• Assist in confirming in Production orders when needed.
