Job summary

Pacific Rubber & Packing seeks an Inventory Control Specialist to safeguard inventory accuracy and ensure materials availability across Operations, Planning, Purchasing, and Customer Service. You will maintain ERP records, perform cycle counts, and resolve discrepancies while organizing locations for efficiency.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in inventory control, warehouse experience, forklift certification, and hands-on ERP proficiency with SAP, NetSuite, Epicor, Oracle, or MS Dynamics.

Qualifications

  • Requires high school diploma or equivalent.
  • 2+ years experience in inventory control or related field.
  • Experience in warehouse, manufacturing, or distribution environments preferred.
  • Experience operating warehouse equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks).
  • Forklift certification or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire.
  • Strong computer proficiency and data entry skills.
  • Experience with ERP and inventory management systems (SAP, NetSuite, Epicor, Oracle, MS Dynamics or similar).
  • Ability to learn new systems while maintaining accurate records.

As an Inventory Control Specialist, you'll play a critical role in maintaining inventory accuracy and ensuring our teams have the materials they need to deliver for our customers. You'll combine analytical thinking with hands‑on execution, partnering across Operations, Planning, Purchasing, Supply Chain, and Customer Service to help keep our business running efficiently.

What You'll Do

You'll be entrusted with maintaining the integrity of our inventory and supporting the flow of materials throughout our operation by:

  • Managing inventory transactions and maintaining accurate records within our ERP system.
  • Monitoring inventory levels through cycle counts, audits, and ongoing inventory verification.
  • Investigating and resolving inventory discrepancies to ensure system and physical inventory alignment.
  • Organizing inventory locations to improve accuracy, accessibility, and warehouse efficiency.
  • Pulling and staging materials for customer orders and production work orders.
  • Partnering with Planning, Purchasing, Customer Service, and Supply Chain teams to communicate inventory status, shortages, and replenishment needs.
  • Supporting production schedules by helping ensure materials are available when and where they are needed.
  • Identifying opportunities to improve inventory control processes, accuracy, and operational efficiency.
  • Contributing to a culture of quality, teamwork, safety, and continuous improvement.
