Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking an Inventory Specialist to oversee product levels, receiving, storing and distributing duties in a warehouse setting. You will conduct weekly cycle counts and maintain accurate inventory records using NetSuite, while coordinating with production and planning teams to prevent shortages and oversupply.

The role requires strong attention to detail, good communication skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Associate degree required.
• Strong attention to detail and a professional attitude.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work under stress and multitask effectively.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and enterprise systems.

Responsibilities

• Follow inventory tracking system to optimize inventory control.
• Examine levels of supplies to determine shortages.
• Document daily deliveries and shipments to update inventory.
• Prepare reports on inventory operations and stock levels.
• Evaluate new inventory for shipment readiness.
• Perform daily analysis to predict inventory problems.
• Order new supplies to avoid surplus or shortages.
• Verify receiving dock shipments and deliveries.
• Coordinate with Buyer/Planner and production to keep NetSuite in sync.
• Assist in supplying line with required parts for daily builds.
• Adhere to safety and handling guidelines for hazardous materials.
• All other duties as assigned.
