Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking an Inventory Control Technician for the 2nd shift in Independence, MO. You will maintain accurate stock levels and monitor product movement with the Operations team, using WMS and MS Office tools.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years in inventory control, strong attention to detail and clear communication with customers and internal teams. Overtime may be required to meet production deadlines and ensure on-time shipments.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in Inventory Control.
• Proficient with WMS and basic office software.
• Strong numerical and written communication skills.
• Ability to work second shift with overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate product and packaging material inventory use.
• Do inventory audits and cycle counts as required.
• Communicate inventory issues to customers, vendors, and the Production Planner.
• Backfill on production lines as needed.
• Support packaging material changes with the Production Planner.
