Job summary

Socket.dev in Layton, UT is seeking a warehouse associate to verify shipments, assist with packaging, and move items to storage areas. You will inspect items for quality and escalate defects to management.

Responsibilities include receiving, storing, and tracking shipments, maintaining inventory records in our software, and operating pallet jacks, forklifts and related tools. High school diploma required; 2+ years of experience preferred; strong organizational skills and teamwork emphasized.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required.
• Associate’s Degree in management or technical/scientific discipline desired.
• 2+ years of professional experience in the required task area.
• Experience with Microsoft Office products to include Word, Excel, and Outlook, and ability to learn and operate inventory management software.
• Strong organization skills and attention to detail required.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Verify shipment details and assist with packaging items.
• Move items to storage areas and inspect shipment quality.
• Elevate defective products to management for action.
• Receive, store, and track shipments of goods and materials.
• Maintain accurate inventory records in management software.
• Operate pallet jacks, powered lifts, forklifts, and related equipment.
• Perform inventory cycle counts monthly, quarterly, and annually.
• Maintain 5S and a safe, clean work environment.
• Support a productive, safe, and collaborative culture.
• Resolve warehouse and inventory-related issues.
• Maintain excellent attendance and punctuality.
