Job summary

Sysco in Las Vegas is seeking a Finance position responsible for controlling day-to-day Inventory Control operations, including cycle counts and research-based corrections. The role coordinates special processing like returns to vendor and related tasks.

The candidate will supervise inventory control, driver check-in and QA staff, drive accuracy, manage training, and ensure HACCP compliance while partnering with Finance, Operations and Merchandise teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 3 to 5 years of inventory control management and supervisory experience.
• Must be trained and licensed for powered industrial equipment as appropriate.
• HACCP Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise inventory control, driver check-in and QA functions to resolve variances.
• Maintain procedures to maximize inventory accuracy and minimize shrink.
• Manage driver check-in, collections, deposits, and adjustments.
• Review daily inventory reports and communicate findings to Finance, Operations, and Merchandise.
• Organize shrink meetings and identify root causes.
• Participate in hiring and training of inventory associates.
• Responsible for performance management and development of inventory staff.
• Conduct the Product Recall process.
• Ensure HACCP compliance.
