Job summary

Sysco Northeast RDC is seeking a Finance-oriented Inventory Control Supervisor in Las Vegas to oversee day-to-day inventory control operations, including cycle counts and investigations of discrepancies. The role includes coordinating special processing such as returns to vendors and performing related tasks.

The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of inventory control management and supervisory experience, a Bachelor’s degree preferred, and HACCP certification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 3–5 years inventory control management and supervisory experience required.
• HACCP Certification required.
• Must be trained and licensed in operation of powered industrial equipment.
• Strong PC skills: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and database concepts.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English.

Responsibilities

• Supervise inventory control, driver check-in and QA functions and direct staff to resolve variances.
• Maintain procedures to maximize inventory accuracy and minimize shrink.
• Manage driver check-in, collections, deposits, and imaged documents; ensure timely adjustments.
• Review daily inventory reports and inform Finance, Operations, and Merchandising.
• Organize shrink meetings and identify root causes of shrink.
• Participate in hiring and training of inventory associates.
• Be responsible for performance management and development of inventory staff.
• Conduct the Product Recall process.
• Ensure HACCP compliance across operations.
