Burlington Stores, Inc. in California-Redlands is seeking an Inventory Control Manager at our high-volume distribution center.

You will lead inventory accuracy, cycle counting, shrink analysis, and financial reporting, partnering with Finance, Operations and Supply Chain to drive operational integrity and efficiency in a dynamic retail logistics environment. This leadership role requires a results-driven strategy, strong process improvement skills, and the ability to guide cross-functional teams

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 5+ years in a high-volume distribution leadership role.
• Knowledge of SOX and internal controls as related to inventory.
• Strong analytical and process-improvement capabilities.
• Experience with inventory systems (WMS) and ERP integrations.

Responsibilities

• Lead Inventory Control, Cycle Count, Accuracy & Compliance, and Inventory Research teams.
• Coordinate month-end and year-end inventory processes and accruals.
• Safeguard assets and ensure accurate valuation through issue identification and root-cause analysis.
• Monitor shrinkage against goals and align with operations to meet objectives.
• Develop KPIs, internal controls, and coordinate with auditors for SOX compliance.
• Manage user access reviews and protect system security.
• Partner with Finance, Operations, Marketing and Supply Chain on inventory initiatives.
