This role requires strong leadership and collaboration with Purchasing, Engineering and Planning to optimize inventory, BOMs and processes. The ideal candidate has 5–10 years in a high-volume manufacturing environment, APICS training, and a proven track record of improving inventory accuracy and cost control.

Responsibilities

• Directly and indirectly supervise the Inventory Department and staff to achieve goals.
• Coordinate with Purchasing & Engineering on obsolete material, ECOs, vendor and material issues.
• Collaborate with Planning to resolve inventory issues, BOM errors and work-order problems.
• Write, establish and approve department policies and procedures.
• Recommend capital expenses and monitor operating costs.
• Lead team projects and drive accountability.
• Maintain honesty, integrity and adherence to policies across the department.
