Job summary

Apex Geotech Solutions in the United States (Ohio) seeks an experienced Inventory Manager to lead the Inventory department, ensuring accuracy and ERP data integrity to support production schedules and commitments.

You will drive cycle counts, collaborate with Planning, Procurement and Production, and push for inventory reduction and cash optimization initiatives. CPIM is preferred and ERP optimization experience is a plus.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field.
  • 5+ years inventory management experience in manufacturing.
  • ERP system expertise.
  • Strong leadership and analytical skills.

POSITION SUMMARY

Leads the Inventory department, overseeing inventory accuracy, ERP data integrity, and material flow to support manufacturing production schedules and customer commitments.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Manage and develop the inventory team including Inventory Control Specialists, ERP Specialist, and BOM Coordinator
  • Establish and monitor inventory accuracy KPIs; drive root cause correction for discrepancies
  • Oversee cycle count program and annual physical inventory
  • Partner with Planning, Procurement, and Production on material availability issues
  • Lead inventory reduction and working capital improvement initiatives
  • Ensure ERP system inventory data integrity
  • Develop and maintain inventory policies and procedures
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field
  • 5+ years inventory management experience in manufacturing
  • ERP system expertise
  • Strong leadership and analytical skills
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • APICS CPIM certification
  • Experience with ERP implementation or optimization
  • Lean inventory management experience
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & WORK ENVIRONMENT

Office and warehouse/manufacturing floor environment.
