Job summary

Woodgrain is seeking an Inventory Control Manager to direct branch inventory operations, drive cycle counting, and ensure accurate bin locations across the warehouse, shops, and depots. You will oversee vendor returns, write-offs, and daily reports, leading a team to maintain precise stock data and efficient processes.

Qualifications

• Direct the inventory management functions at the branch.
• Manage daily cycle counts and reconcile inventory accuracy.
• Set up warehouse racks and maintain bin locations for all products.
• Coordinate vendor returns and manage negative availability reports.
• Train and lead staff to maintain accurate bin locations and inventory processes.

Responsibilities

• Direct the Inventory Management functions of the Branch in accordance with established company policies and procedures.
• Manage the Daily Cycle Counting process to insure the accuracy of the Inventory on site at the Branch.
• Set-up racks in the warehouse and all production shops for branch employees to stage damaged or defective product daily.
• Manage daily all the 'zero find' ship tickets and KPI work orders in the warehouse.
• Manage Vendor Returns weekly with all vendors.
• Promote safe work environment and lead daily huddles to drive continuous improvement.
